What does saorico.com mean?

The name of the project saorico.com was liberally inspired by the Portuguese name São Rico, a fictional South American country in The Adventures of Tintin.

The fictional country São Rico is a good example of a very controversial labelling: the name appeared only in late editions of The Shooting Star, where the team from “Saint Rich” represents the “bad guys”. Earlier editions of the book, written during the German occupation of Belgium, had the United States as the antagonist.

Challenges with countries and names are not prerogative of web applications and online services.
